Thal Kedar is a sacred Shaivite pilgrim location. This place is devoted to Lord Shiva and is located at the distance of 16 kms from Pithoragarh on the hill top. Thal kedar is also highly renowned for its picturesque beauty. During the occasion of Shivaratri, a number of devotees arrive at this place. The total distance of Pithoragarh is about 138 kms from Tanakpur, you can either hire a local bus or taxi to reach Pithoragarh.
