Mussoorie

the picturesque town is situated at an elevation of 1,880 meters above sea level. The Mussoorie

splendid view of Shiwalik ranges on the South. Mussoorie is called the gateway to the Gangotri
and Yamunotri shrines and this place is well connected with Delhi and other major northern

Devprayag
Devprayag is a small beautiful town located at a distance of 75 kilometers from Tehri District of
Uttarakhand. Situated at an elevation 2700 feet above sea level, Devprayag falls on Rishikesh to
Badrinath route and is prominent destination of Yatra for Hindu followers. It is on the confluence
of river Bhagirathi and river Alaknanda. One interesting fact about this holy place is that here we

Dhanaulti
Located at distance of 44 kilometers from Tehri Garhwal and surrounded by deep alpine forests
of oak, rhododendrons and deodar, Dhanaulti is most visited tourist destination in Uttrakhand
state of India. It is set up at an altitude of 2286mts above sea level and is quite near to Mussoorie
and Chamba.

in Tehri district of Uttarkhand state. Situated amongst several snow covered hills, Kanatal is not
overloaded or well developed town like other hill spots of Uttarakhand state. Set up at an altitude
of 8,500 ft above sea level, Kanatal attracts hundred of tourists every year to its natural beauty
enriched with snow covered hills and lush green forests. The name of Kanatal is given after an
invisible lake, which once existed here and now almost died. Numerous scenic places are here to
watch like Surkhanda Devi Temple, Tehri Dam, Kodia Jungle and much more. Various

Uttarkashi
Situated at a distance of 78 kilometers from Tehri Garhwal and set up at an altitude of 1,352
meters above sea level, Uttarkashi is charming and religious place which is frequently visited by
numerous tourists all over the world. Uttarkashi is conveniently connected by road with Delhi
and other major Northern Indian cities. It is lies on the banks of scared Bhagirath River and
houses India’s most respected and famous mountaineering Institute namely Nehru Institute of

Chandrabadni
Chandrabadni is a holy place and frequented Yatra destination for Hindu devotees. The divinity
of the sanctified Chandrabadani Temple is Goddess Sati, the wife of Lord Shiva. According to
Hindu myth the chest of Goddess Sati was fortuitously felt here when God Shiva was carrying
her. The Chandrabadni temple is one of the Siddhpeeth's possessing great religious consequences

Surkanda Devi Trek
The Surkanda Devi Temple is located nearby the village of Kaddukhal, at a distance of 33 km
away from the district of New-Tehri. It sets at an altitude of 3030 meters above sea level.
Surkanda Devi Temple is devoted to Goddess Parvati the wife of Lord Shiva, and is positioned
on the Sukhanda Peak.The ambiance of this temple possesses various sorts of flowers along with
several native herbs. The temple is also a perfect site for seeing different species of western
Himalayan birds. Dehra Dun, Chandrabadni, Rishikesh, Chakrata, and Pratapnagar are the
excursions to this place. Every year in the month of Jyaishtha (according to Hindu calendar) a
fair is held on the festive of Ganga Dusshera.
Khatling Glacier
Khatling is one of the few enormous glacial masses arranged in the Tehri Garhwal area of
Uttarakhand state. The trek to Khatling Glacier is moderate starting from Ghuttu arranged 62kms

of 7 kilometerss to Sem starts from Khamba Khal which is conveniently connected by road
routes.
