Hariyali Devi temple is a temple of Devi on a Lion’s back which is also popular by the name of Sitla mata in the Alomora district of Jageshwar and Srinagar. The temple is situated at a high altitude of 1400mts on the way to Rudraptayag- Karnaprayag. The route segregated from the main town FROM Nagrasu to Rudraprayag and directly leads to the Siddha Peeth of Hariyali Devi which is 22km away.
The temple is 37kms away from Rudraprayag and is surrounded by various high mountains and peaks along with thick forests running its side. The place is at a high elevation of 1400mts. The temple of hariyali devi is round the year visited by tourists. The festival of Janamashtmi and Deepawali are celebrated with all pomp and show and the idol of Haryali devi is carried to in a Palanquin to Hariyali Kantha which is the Siddha Peetb of Hariyali Devi.
