Khairna Bridge
Khairna Bridge is famous for fishing. Offering peaceful and beautiful vistas of nature it is decent place to sit back and relax. It is 34kms away from Ranikhet on the Nainital route.

Sitlakhet
Sitlakhet is only 30kms away from Ranikhet and is situated in the mid of Almora and Ranikhet. This place is a picturesque sight that not only doles out pleasing views to Himalayan peaks but also to fruit orchards.Holy Shrine of Syahi Devi is located here at a distance of 3kms away from striking views of mountainous trail.

Dwarhat
Dwarhat is located in the Almora district of Uttarkhand and is around 37kms away from Ranikhet. It is a renowned town that is home to 55 primeval temples. This serene place is in the middle of Ranikhet and Garisan at the crossroads of Ranikhet and Kausani road and Almora and Badrinath road. It is famous for its Kumaoni Holi and Syaldeh Bhikoti Fair is held at Dwarhat every year in the year 13th April to 16th April.

Bageshwar
Located at a distance f 107kms away from Ranikhet, Bageshwar is famous for temples of Lord Shiva. It is said the Lord Shiva has spent time here in Bageshwar in the form of Tiger. It has derived its name from Bagnath which is a renowned temple situated at the confluence of River Gomti and Saryu. Each year Bageshwar attracts thousands of pilgrims to offer their prayers at the Shiva temple. Every year Uttaryani fair is held here in the month January. For those who love trekking Bageshwar is the base camp here from Pindari.

Pandavkholi
Pandavkholi are the caves that are located at a distance of 5kms away from Dronagiri and finds its inscriptions in the known book of Autobiogaphy of a Yogi of Lahiri Mahashay. It is also believed that Pandavas spend their time here during exile and there is a beautiful meadow that stands where pandavas have meditated here. One can reach Pandavkholi by a small trek of around 4kms. Also an Ashram is present here where most of the meditaion lovers prefer to and time in the lap of Mother Nature. The place offer amazing views to Himalayas.

Dronagiri
Dronagori is 1100 century old temple that is located at a distance of 52kms away from Ranikhet. It is believed that in the Ramayana period when Laxman, younger brother of Lord Rama got injured by Meghnath’s arrow then Hanuman was sent to get Sanjiwani Buti from Himalayas. While he was returning a part of the buti fell on earth and that area is presently known as Dronagiri.

Jageshwar
Jageshwar is around 80 kms away from Ranikhet but is a amazing places with several temples situated here. The place is famous for the Jyotirlinga temple and the Mahamritunjaya temple which is the only temple that is famous for the incarnation of Lord Shiva.

Baijnath
It is a famous temple along the shoreline of Gomti River in the Garuda Valley. In the Baijnath temple complex major pull here is a black stone idol of Goddess Parvati that is located at the main entryway. Fishing alongside the temple is strictly restricted within the campus. Travellers can feed fishes with large packet of Channa. A kali temple is located at a distance of 8kms from Baijnath and is known as Kot-ki- Mai.

Binsar
At a distance of 140kms away from Ranikhet is Binsar. This is a famous temple of Lord Shiva which is located at a height of around 2,212 mts above the sea level and is said to have been constructed by the King Kalyan of the Chand Dynasty. Binsar is located in the middle of a dense jungle and is said to dole out placid ambience and exquisite natural settings. It offers amazing views to peaks like Chaukhamba, Nanda Devi, Nanda Kot, Kedarnath, Panchchuli and other peaks.

Mukhteshwar
Mukhteshwar is located at a distance of 85kms away from Ranikhet. It is a famous temple that is perched at an elevation of 2,285 mts above sea level. The place has derived its name from the 350 year Mukhteshwar Dham that is located here. This dham is dedicated to Lord Shiva and from its great heights; Mukhteshwar temple offers splendid views to Himalayan Range. Mukhteshwar was established by British as a research and education institute in 1893.

Nainital
Situated at a distance of 59kms from Ranikhet, Nainital is a beautiful place perched at an elevation of 1,938 mts above the sea level. Nainital is known as city of lakes and offers pleasing views of Mother Nature. It is also called as “Lake District” and is dotted with five lakes namely- Nainital, Bhimtal, Khurptal, Sattal and Naukuchiyatal.

Almora
Almora is a beautiful place in the Uttarakhand state. The picturesque place offers beautiful glimpse of extensive beauty around as in magnificent Himalayas, rich and cultural heritage of the city, verdant greenery, matchless handicrafts and exotic cuisines. Almora is located at a distance of 46kms from Ranikhet.
