Kanvashram

Located at a mere distance of around 40kms from Lansdowne, Kanva rishi ashram is an important place of archaeological and historical importance. It is this place only where Lord Bharat spent his childhood days.

Tarakeshwar Mahadev

This place is devoted to Lord Shiva and is besieged by thick and dense forest of Deodar trees. The place has an ancient shrine of Lord Shiva which is 38kms from Lansdowne and is situated at an elevation 1,800 mts above the sea level on the Kotdwar and Rikhnikhal road.

Siddhbali Temple

The residing deity of this temple is Lord Hanuman. This place holds high religious value and is largely visited by individuals across the Uttarakhand. This temple is place on the edge of the mountain which is 38kms afore Lansdowne area and is just 2kms away from the Kotdwar city.

Durga Devi Temple

This is a religious place which has a temple of Goddess Durga and is a place which is highly revered by the locals. The temple is situated at a distance of 25kms afore Lansdowne. Besides this place has a very peaceful place of water stream where you can spend time and relax amid the scenic beauty of Mother Nature.

Pauri

Pauri is situated at a distance of 78kms from Lansdowne in the northwest slopes of Kandoliya hills of the Garhwal region of the Uttarakhand state. Pauri unveils wonderful areas to explore and visit. It unfolds view t majestic snow-laden peaks, extensive Himalayan range and dense forests that besiege it. The place is also famous for its sports field and Kandoliya temple of Pauri that offers gigantic view to Gangarswun valley view and the sunset.

Khirsu

Located at a distance of 91kms from Lansdowne at an altitudinal height of 1,7000mts above the sea level, Khirsu is a serene place with range of apple, oak and deodar trees. The place is close to Puari, Garhwal district of Uttarakhand area and unveils wonderful sights to extensive Himalayan ranges.

Ulkha Giri

2kms drive from Chaudatkhal, Ulkha Giri can be easily reached. Tourist can also choose to trek for 2km from Ulkha Giru. Though it is at an altitudinal height of 1900 mts above sea level but unfolds ravishing view to the pleasing and serene Himalayan and misty valleys.

Jwalpa Devi Temple

At a total distance of 45 kms from Lansdowne, Jwalpa devi temple is a famous temple here which is largely visited by the locales and outsiders. The temple has a River Nawalika flowing on the left side and divulges amazing views to scenery.

Kaleshwar Mahadev Temple

This is one of the oldest temples here in Lansdowne. It was built over 100 years ago and this temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is considered as the meditation field for many sages.

Bhairav Garhi Temple

This temple is situated at a mere distance of 18kms away from Lansdowne and is a famous Siddhipeeth of Lord Bhairav. The temple is largely worshipped during the Months of May-June as a huge festival is organized by the locals.

Langoor Garhi Temple

At an altitudinal height of 9,000 mts above the sea level, Langoor Garhi is also known as the Hanuman Garhi of which Lord Hanuman was the original deity. The temple is situated near the Bhairav Garhi Temple which is only 18kms away from Lansdowne and was then constructed by Neem Karoli Baba.
