Auli Skiing Destination
Auli is a popular skiing destination in India. It possesses fascinating hill slopes and gives wonderful skiing conditions and abundant opportunities for the skiers. Auli Ropeway
Auli Ropeway or locally called as Gandola is major tourist attraction in Auli giving splendid and majestic views of Himalayan. Auli cable car covers about a distance of 4 kms and is considered as second highest and largest ropeway in Asia, Gulmarg is first one. Situated at an altitude of 3010 meters above sea level, Auli Cable car connects Auli with Joshimath and tagged as best skiing and paragliding place in India. Weather in summer

Surrounded amidst lush green oak forests, Auli Ropeway offers dazzling views of the Himalayas in the front. This Cable Car holds a Chair Lift and a Ski Lift. There are ten steel towers holding the two cabin bi-cable ropeway in Auli. In 15-20 minutes, Auli Ropeway Cable Car covers a total distance of 3.96 km and the total slope is 1110 meters.
Auli Ski lifts cost around INR 50 and works from the months of November- March. There is also a chair lift available linking lower and upper ski grades.
Auli Slopes
The slopes of Auli are tagged as best amongst the other skiing locations in Asia by the skiers of various countries. Auli has four Ski slopes i.e. you.
• 10 No. Slope (White) which is 900meters long
• 8 No. Track (Blue) which is around 800mts long
• Temple Track (Red) - for beginners and is about 400mts in length
• Composite Slopes which is about is 3.1kms long
